Happy go-lucky

A few quick updates about our household:

  • I recently passed the PMI exam for Project Management. This means I am officially a PMP! I have been working at this for almost a year now and it feels so good to be done.
  • We are leaving for London/Paris in a little over 2 weeks time! Chase is going to London for work, I'm tagging along and having a grand ol time while he slaves away in a London office. ;)
  • Work for both of us is going to start taking off here shortly but we feel so incredibly blessed that nothing in our life is horrible. We are still loving being married, very much still in "newlywed" mode, and can't wait to reach that 1 year mark!
  • Once I was done studying I was so so so excited to go get books at Barnes & Noble. The summer usually brings sub-par TV programming so that's my time to really get into books! I bought the last 2 books in the 'Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' series and the first book of Hunger Games. I can't wait to begin all three of them!
  • We are headed to Arkansas this weekend to see Chase's family. Neither one of us has been up there since Christmas so we are looking forward to seeing everyone..... not looking forward to the drive though. And just because she's quite possibly the cutest baby I've ever seen I'll leave you with a picture of our niece that I am so excited to get to see!!

7 months!

Chase & I hit our 7 month anniversary recently. It's crazy to think we are closer to 1 year than we are to when we got married! We still like to think about that day and recently we got some of our pictures blown up and framed really nicely. I can't wait till we have a house in a few years and they can be prominently displayed.

We are about to run our 3rd Half Marathon and are really excited to be doing it again. Training is difficult because of time constraints but we have managed to make time to do our long runs and get ready.

After our half marathon is over we're going to Houston the next weekend to watch my friend Sarah race in her first ever Half Iron Man. I am so proud of her for putting the time and effort towards this and can't wait to be there to cheer her on!

Beyond that we are both looking at the next few months as some major traveling months for work (and a little bit of fun!). Chase is possibly going to London in June (I'm going to go as well if time permits) and we are going to Minneapolis for the Opening Weekend games for the Twins/Rangers series. Lots of good times ahead!

Welcome to our life!

This blog probably won't be updated much. But I'll try to keep it updated in the future!
