5 months!

John Alexander - 5 months - July 5th

What a fun month we've had! Our first flight, first Rangers game, fourth of July, meeting Leah's extended family (all 30 of them!), finding our feet, and our first teeth!

His favorite place to nap. They had lots of them over the weekend.

We were trying to get him to smile for Aunt Amy before we took off. He was more interested in the window and trying to climb out of it.

Fourth of July parade at school.

Play time with his buddy Miles!

First baseball game!

My view on the way to the car. :)

Things he likes:

Sophie the Giraffe
Taking naps on Grandpa's shoulder
Leah's extended family
SCREECHING
Flying :)
Mr Theodore Barbear, Monsieur Elephant, Senorita Rabbit, and Gentlemen Velveteen (we are a diverse group around here with our stuffed animals)

Milestones:
Bottom two teeth!
Sleeping on our belly and therefore sleeping better again
Playing on our belly for longer stretches. Daycare says he's scooting around but we've never actually seen it happen at home!

We've had a great time with him this month. His personality is starting to shine through (fun and strong headed..... wonder where he gets the latter from....) He did great on our first flight. Only cried a few times but other than that was either happy and talking or sleeping. We are going to Miami in a few weeks (what's up South Beach!) and we are hopeful that we will have similar experiences with him. Went to our first Rangers game. He lasted a few innings and then it was time for mom and baby to go home. But I think he had a good time. It was at the game where we realized that he had a tooth coming in. His second one came in a few days after that. Explained his sleeping habits as of late. We are now back to waking up once during the night (hallelujah!) and have started sleeping on our belly. We are looking forward to the month of July as there are a few things happening for us as a family which are going to change things but in a really good way!
